i wear mine on my right, but i dont think it matters. see if you like it better on ur left or ur right ankle. since i always wear my anklets on my right ankle, wearing one on my left ankle feels funny...

This is only critical if you are unfortunate enough to have lost a leg. Then you should always go with the leg you still have.

I wear mine on my left because I'm left-handed ~ I do wear my toe-ring on my right foot though to balance it out.
