we can always find a replacement for oil, but once water is gone, its gone. there would be miilions of people going into a panick, and water bills would skyrocket!
Pretty much it would be caos.

Water will win. Water is non replaceable in human life. Oil can be substituted by other things. We can't drink and shower with oil, all species will die without water, not oil.

What you are referring to is potable water which is a function of the number of treatment plants verses population.There won't be a water shortage,just the cost of treatment may be painful.

that's the dumbest thing i have ever heard. 2/3 of the earth's surface is covered with water. plus, oil is a non-renewable resourse. water can be made if needed.

of course people will suffer n die eventually. war will break between nations to secure last reserve of water.yeah we will see lots of dying here and there.not to mention 1litre will cost you 300 dollars.and people bath once every 3 month(with dry cleaning method)? toilet technology without flushing will be invented(sum hatch opened and blended not flushed ewww). swimming sports is banned. now we are imgining shortage of water rite....
