The sun falls, as darkness consumes the land and I rise from my slumber. First point of the night I must quench my thirst and feed the beast that stirs inside me. The kill is quick, I'm in no mood for games this evening and seen it all a thousand times before. My unlife is dull now watching human kind, the living, go about their short lives. Sure it was fun in the beginning. Watching, and hunting. Playing with their lives, but it can only amuse one for only so long. After seeing the dark for so long I yearn for the sun. Something I know I will never see again. I must wither away in the darkness, unable to see the light. I say wither in a loose sense. I am immortal, but my soul was not. It died and my mind was left alone. I have lost my morals with it and most of my sanity, keep undead by the beast that feeds.

I wrote a book in College that involved Vampires. Image your self at about 200 years old. Typically at that point you are very wiley or wise so to say. You have your own agenda all the time no matter what is going on. Most of the vampires in my Book will manipulate any situation to get what they want. It's not all about blood sucking and all that stuff. I really try to bring the character to life with motives and that are revealed long after whats wanted is recieved. Very Deceptive creatures and thats just one aspect there are literally hundreds. It's early in the morning so I'm sorry if this doens't help.

To begin with, life is what they had before they became Vampires.
Imagine, being cold, souless, unalive. Forced to lie in your burial place all day, emerging only at night. Spending your waking hours in endless search for sustenance, suffering an unquenchable thirst. Despised, feared and unloved.
Pretty dang miserable, really. Sure, you're one bad-to-the-bone mosquito, but you're still a mosquito.

that depends on what kind of vampire one is. they they were a traditional Dracula vampire, then life would really suck, having to give into horrible urges to kill people 24/7. If they're any other kind, then I think it would be fun, sort of, to be able to melt away into the night, not have to breathe, and I'm really jazzed about this, so I'm gonna go before i annoy you to much... But if you want to talk about it more, contact me.

two versions :1 really boring they do the same thing for hundreds and hundreds of years.
2 very interesting because they see how the world is changing through the centuries.
probably is somewhere in between.

Well for me, I think I would become a merc. for hire. What better way to send someone who is almost unstopable to go and kill , say some one like Bin Ladin?? I would be known around the world . lol.

Hopeless. To know you would never die and get out of the hell on earth that you are living would be hopeless & depressing, nothing to look forward to, boring and devoid of wholesome spirituality. Terribly, terribly hopeless.

Sad and lonely, without great joy , painful, never seeing the sun, never being able to share real love with anyone.
