how do I convert shoe sizes from men's to women's ?

add 2 to the mens size, and you get the womens size

so a size 8 in mens is a size 10 in womens

but only for US sizes.

generally men's sizes are about 1 1/2 sizes bigger than womens so if you wear an 8 in womens you should be able to wear a 6 1/2 in mens (or young mens rather). Just go into store and try it out.
