No you are fine. I was 15 1/2 when I started for the first time. But I would go to the doctor if you have not started by the time you are 16. Hang in there you will be fine.

Well, I am only 13, but I've read a lot of stuff in magazines and online. I'm pretty sure it's okay though. If you want to check it out though, you can try going to: www.beinggirl.com. It has a lot of good information, and there is a place where you can ask the editor special questions. You will have to become a member to use this website, but it's free, so you should be fine! I hope this helps!

No there is nothing wrong with you. All girls start at different times. My daughter turned 15 in January and she just had her first one the November prior to that. I did as my Gynegologist about it and he said they don't even start to worry about it until you are older than 16/17. Hang in there it will come in due time and enjoy the years you can without it :).

no of course not. I was 15 when I started my period. (many moons ago) If you are active in sports, sometimes that will cause a delay. Don't worry it will come along soon enough.

The average age range for girls starting their cycle is anywhere between 12 and 17, so I'd say you still have a while before you should start panicking. :)

i didn't start mine until i was 16....i went to the gyno and they told me i had a mild form of PCOS[polycystic ovarian syndrome]...not a huge deal...they just had to induce my periods...so i would go check that out with your gyno...but until then ENJOY the no periods lol!

if you have to be put on the pill ask for YASMiN...i actually lost weight with this pill...it has a low dosage of estrogen...and your periods will be really LiGHT and NO CRAMPS! it's great!

No, no. I started mine at 11. Just take care of yourself. Eat right and get plenty of sleep. Make sure you get enough protien, veggies, fruits. Take a GOOD multi vitamin and Krill/Fish Oil.
