LOVE them. I have all the cd's, dvd's of all the episodes, the made for TV movie, Davy Jones on the Ed Sullivan show, Davy Jones in "The Farmer's Daughter", and the dvd of their movie "Head". It's beyond love, it's an obsession due to my midlife crisis.

I used to think Davy was just dreamy!!
But as I've gotten older, I've become more of a Mike Nesmith fan.
They were a fabricated band for TV. Nesmith was an actual musician. Mike's mother is also the inventor of Liquid Paper/White-Out. And Mike is the founder of MTV. How cool is that?!
They were no longer a thing by the time I figured out what music is. But I got a lot of the albums at garage sales and would sit and listen to them for hours. "Only shades of grey ..." would have to be a favorite along with "Look Out! Here comes tomorrow"

I LOVE the Monkees. I grew up watching them on TV. I remember their album was the first record I ever got when I was a kid.

They're ok, I'd sing along a little if one of their songs was being played.
