South Park!! Its basically the way a movie from a cartoon should be. Obviously longer, and the writers dont hold anything back when writin the dialog/script.
All the other people who answered with movies from comic books should be smacked, twice. First cuz u said cartoon, not comic. Second cuz there has been no simply good, movie from a comic that was done right. The closest maybe the old Superman, maybe. Or Blade and From Hell(i havnt read the books though)

I'm not sure what your asking, but I remember an early cartoon from Disney. If I were looking seriously, don't count out work done in the 30's, 40's, and 50's. Remember, the Wizard of Oz was done in 1939, so the technology was around.
I remember a cartoon that was unlike any I've seen to this day. It was a kaleidoscope of colors and activities in a fanciful world. It was a musical with this line, "Wake up lazy bones, it's time for spring, time for spring."

that would be the ultimate Avengers !!! that cartoon was awesome..true they didn't do everything that the comic books did..but they were aiming it for just about everyone to watch. I still say its totally awesome !!!
If your talknig about movies ..it would have to be The Crow.. the kept true to thte story of how love can even conquare death !!!!!
