Are orchestras better than bands?

Are highschool bands better than orchestras (aka- the best thing in the world)? Give your input. Please don't insult the orchestra or band world. Heck, i'm in both so....whatever. Answer away!

Hello dear!
We do not judge music by the size or orientation of the instruments and vocals!
One singer could be better than a thousand and visa versa!

i dont really know the difference. in my high school i think the band and ochestra are together
