the government made a weather machine that has caused damage to their own.
we are the guinnea pigs for the big test?
Also this is true, the Soviets had an earthquake machine and sold it to the americans after the cold war.

I don't think we're being punished for anything. Our country is getting flooded so much because it's been raining. Pure and simple.

Your country has ALWAYS experienced floods. The reason that floods seem so frequent is because of more population in more places that were flooded before but not reported, and more media coverage.
