* Pork fat is the most saturated type of fat in the animal kingdom and can increase the risk of high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.
* Its salty meat is an additional risk for the kidneys, heart and for hypertensive patients.
* Pigs will eat anything and everything, including their own excreta. This makes their bodies an ideal host for several microorganisms that are known to be hazardous to human health if consumed regularly.
However: Scientists are breeding pigs to have the healthy fatty acids found in fish which will be good for the heart, but without the risk of heavy metal accumulation you see in real fish.

Undercooked pork can have trichina worms that migrate into muscle and form cysts. But that assumes the pig was infected to begin with.
No complaints that aren't common to all factory farm grain fed meats.
The religious strictures against pork are based on ancient animistic practices. Pork is taboo because at one time it was considered to be the earthly embodiment of the pre abrahamic Yawheh/Jehovah proto deity.
It was thought that eating of pork would infuse the user with the animus of the god which was felt to be corrosive to ordinary people. Way back long ago there was a secret ceremony wherein Israelite priests partook of the 'body of the god' in a manner reminiscent of the communion rituals of Catholicism and Anglicanism.
The duality of sacredness and forbiddenness collapsed and the pig eventually became thought of as unfit for consumption because it was unclean.

Historically Pork is the meat with the most bacteria and harmful organisms than all other meats. Your safe as long as you cook it really well and at a high enough temprature to kill off the bacteria. Also it increases blood pressure due to the fact that pig neat has to be cured with salt. All in all its safe to eat but not the wisest choice for healthy living

Aside from the obvious facts stated above, which does not preclude the problems with other meat animals, science has little to say about eating pork.

if you can answer the question: will we have any characters from the animals we are eating even on long run? if yes this means yes will be harmful for human. as you know pig is not loyal, female can be ****** by many males in front of each other without any problem but if you look to the pigeon, goat or any other animal it can't be if two males and one female they will fight and only one will win with that female.
but in case of pig, female do sex with many males without fighting.
and if my question answer is yes, then this means human-eating pork will have same characters...in other words sensitivity will decrease...will be not jealous on his wife.....possibly there is one clear example in people-eating pork society which is swapping
I think all of you know swapping... and this is only present in pork eating people.
---if the answer of my question is now then, there are many health problems of eating pork
1- after eating pork the dioxin increases in the body and this is toxic and makes different degree of mental disorders
2- tape worm (taenia solium)
3- do u know Jesus never eat pork....why... try to find why...possibly because he follows mosses and mosses never eat pork also!!!!
and many other reasons.....but it's up to you to eat or not.....thanks

Besides it being high in fat pork can contain what is called a nematode. These organisms have many life cycles one of which is in the ground another which is in muscle. If pigs are fed food that contains this parasite, it will lodge itself in the muscle of the pig. If humans do not thoroughly cook this pork, we can also get this parasite. It will also lodge itself in our muscle and can cause severe pain.

SCIENCE DOES NOT LIMIT HUMAN BEINGS NOR OTHER ANIMALS FROM EATING PORK MEAT. BIOLOGICALLY THERE IS TOO MUCH FAT IN THE PORK MEAT WHICH IS NOT GOOD FOR SOME CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE BUT THE ONLY SCIENCE THAT IMPOSES RESTRICTMENTS OF THE PORK IS MEDICINE APPARENTLY.

Besides all said, I choose beef liver if I want to buy liver. Because pigs are fed with concentrated fodders, full of different artificially added or synthetized thing, and cows/bulls are more herbivore, naturally fed in my country. If some supplements are added, they will not be present in such concentrations in their liver than in liver of pigs.

I think the most common health complaint for pork is the amount of fat found in it, comparable to the amount found in any other red meat.
