Yes, it is possible. Sperm can live in a woman's body anywhere from 3 to 5 days depending on certain conditions. When you ovulate, your egg is viable for about 24 hours. So if you had sex 3 days before you ovulated and his sperm stayed in your fallopian tube and you ovulated, then yes you could be pregnant.

It is possible to get pregnant every time you have sex. Nobody can pin point the exact time of ovulation (even with fancy monitoring devices that cost lots of money.) They can only estimate. Sperm can live for 3 days inside the female body.
