well I truly would keep everything the same cuz the fact that they were all practical unknowns made it the best. I mean with the new ones, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson and Sam Jackson all had their own fame but it wasn't... let's cast the hottest young actor so we can get all the little girls to go see the flick, it keeps it better that way.. like with Lord of the Rings, Elijah and Sean had their stuff when they were younger, Ian is brillant but at that point wasn't main stream and Viggo had a few things here and there but wasn't overly popular.. it made it better, stronger cuz the actors didn't take away from the story... I really hope you don't think it's a cop out!

Luke Skywalker - Jesus Christ - Because he is an archetype of Christ.
Darth Vader - Judas Iscariot - Because he betrayed good for the dark side so he would play it well.
Leia - Mary Magdelene - She was close and loved Jesus like Lea was close to Luke as her brother and love him.
