Yes, it is very sad to have to tell you that he is gone. Now the fight is on, especially between Tori and her mother. Mr. Spelling died on June 23, 2006 after having experienced a stroke. I don't really know if his passing had anything to do with the cancellation of Charmed. He might well have been ill for a considerable period of time. This, of course, would have made it difficult for him to do directing and producing of the Charmed programming. I wish the Spelling Family peace and God's blessings. May you also enjoy the Lord's blessings. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Aaron Spelling, whom the New York Times described as "the most prolific producer in American television," died Friday in Los Angeles at age 83. His shows included the Mod Squad, Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, Dynasty, Beverly Hills, 90210 and 7th Heaven.

Yes, I heard he passed away, he was 83. I don't think Charmed was canceled because of it, seeing how it was done before he passed.

yes - but he's not the writer, he's a producer and he owns his own publishing firm. He came to Hollywood with less than a dollar to his name and quickly built a multi million dollar empire.
In his career he created several shows, including 90210, Saved by the Bell, and Charmed just to name a few.

Yes, sadly, he really did pass away, but I do not think this is why Charmed was canceled. 7th Heaven was renewed for next season and that is one of his as well.

No, he was the producer. I think 'Charmed' ended because seven seasons seems to be enough for TV shows to get syndicated.
