Historically its the AL east. This season, however its the AL central. The Tigers have the best record in baseball and are red hot. The Sox are the defending champs and are right on their tails. Finally, the hottest team in baseball over the last month is the Twins. Theyve won like 14 of 16 and only gained 1 and 1/2 games on the Tigers. Wow. Plus the Indians have a up and coming team and the Royals, well 4 out of 5 aint bad!

The correct answer is The AL EAST.
The Centrals records might be a bit better, but that is because of their schedules.
The AL East holds the advantage over the Central this season to the tune of: 35-26
So who is the better division?
The correct answer = AL East

The AL Central would have the two best teams competeing against each other. However, the AL East has four teams that can compete. The only thing that the Blue Jays and The Orioles need is a winning streak to get into the race.

i imagine both between the necessary divisions will be difficult. contained in the AL necessary you've the 4 playoff contenders contained in the White Sox, Indians, Tigers, and the Twins. The NL necessary is gonna be stout also. The playing cards are coming off an excellent postseason, the Astros also are merely strong adequate with the outstanding pitching they consistently run into. Clemens would no longer play there and Pettette went back to lengthy island yet they are going to nonetheless discover strong stay fingers. the in person-friendly words question with Houston is can they hit with runners in scoring position this 12 months. The Cubs..... I hate them a lot yet after spending $three hundred mill this offseason they ought to contend. Oh yeah, Derrek Lee is healthful back. The Brewers were one pitcher faraway from being an exceedingly good team very last 12 months and accrued Jeff Suppan. There are alot of robust divisions inclusive of the NL East and AL East yet i imagine the Centrals will be the hardest.

The Central...hands down!
2 of the BEST teams in baseball occupy that division.
If the yankees were in the Central division they would be 13 1/2 games behind The Tigers.
Have to give credit to Minnesota as well....they are on a major roll!

You have to say the AL East, even though the Tigers and the White Sox both have better records than any Eastern Division team. After all, it's a three-horse race with Toronto.

The Sox destroyed the Tigers when they played them, and the Yankees would beat them as well. The Blue Jays have a very tough offense and Halladay and Burnett to match up against Detroit's top two. Detroit is the best in the Central, and if the top 3 in the East can take Detroit, they can take the other two...
