I have heard some say that for your first year of marriage that you should get a jar and put a quarter in it every time that you have sex. Then after the first year take one quarter out every time that you have sex and you will never empty the jar. Anyway to answer your question I think that in the begining of a marriage your relationship is still based alot on physcial love. That does not mean however that the longer you are married that the sex life is horrible. Yes it is true that you often get to busy and tired. But a mature marrige does not the physcial sex because they realize that, that is not what makes a marriage last. It is the everyday little things that we do for our spouses.

A lot of couples get married and their sex life is great.. They start having kids and life gets busy and tiring and it's hard to make time for the fun crazy sex they use to have.. I don't believe the sex drive isn't there it's just harder to get together, plus it's not as much fun having to pencil it in the calender..

I have been with the same man for years and I would love to take a night "off" from sex. He gets it every single night and most mornings to. I think the key to a good long lasting sex life is to always remember a little spice makes everything better. (have you ever had a chilli without any spice....Yuck!).

some spouses become bored with routine encounters in the bedroom. i would suugest trying different places for these pleasurable moments and discovering new ways of enjoying each other rather than making it seem like a task you need to fullfill make an adventure to look forward too often.

Life just gets busier with family, jobs, etc. It's the penny theory. First year you are married you put a penny in the jar every time you do it. Starting with the second year of your marriage, every time you do it you take a penny out and you never run out of pennies!

Its sort of like buying a new car. At first, you can't wait to drive it and show it off to your friends. Then as years go on, the paint isn't as shiny and it costs more to maintain than its worth. It barely gets you from point a to point b.
