Well, Woodchucks can chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. So in reason if a woodchuck could chuck 35 cubic feet of dirt he could chuck an equivalence of 700 pounds of wood. In a more logical sense I believe that if the woodchuck chucked the amount of wood that she sells seashells on the seashore divided by how many pickles Peter Piper picks would give us the true answer.

The Woodchuck, also known as groundhog is a member of the squirrel family.
They are found in open pastures, woodlots, fields, ditches, and roadsides.
During early spring, they are most active during the warm parts of the day. However, during the warmer spring and summer months, the day is spent in their cool burrows and feeding occurs during the very early morning and at dusk.
They begin hibernation mid October and emerge in February.
There burrow system is located about 2-4 feet underground and may extend 15-25 feet horizontally.
The main nest chamber is usually located at the end of the burrow. The main entrance is seen as a mound of fresh earth around the opening.
They are active by day, especially in early morning and late afternoon.
In residential areas they may be found beneath homes, patios, under decks, garages and stored lumber.
They construct burrows and eat a broad range of vegetation. An adult consumes between 1-1/2 lbs. of vegetation a day.
One or two are capable of eating into your garden almost overnight.
They weigh between 4-14 pounds, and are stocky, giving the appearance of crouching close to the ground as it moves around.
The body fur is long, grizzled grayish-brown in color and coarse.
In late summer or early fall, they put on a heavy layer of fat, which sustains it through hibernation.
A woodchuck can chew through 1/4 there body weight per hour, but only do this to line there den for the winter.

So taken this info if a Wood chuck worked for 8 hours a day and weighed 10 lbs that would be 20 lbs of wood a say. you do the math

The rhyme isn't 'chop' but 'chuck' makes a lot more alliterative sense.
