What can I get to whiten my clothes?? I tried bleach. :0(

lol you must live in West VA, I use to live there and we had iron water also, it ruined everything that I had, including my natural blond hair. I don't know of anything that will bring out the iron, god knows I tried everything. I suggest you take your light colored clothes to the laundry mat to wash.

Go to Walmart and look in the laundry section. They have a product to dye clothes. I think it is called Ritz. Anyway, when you find the clothes dye, look through them and there is one specifically for whitening or removing rust form you clothes.

You can try your city water department. They should have something there. When I lived in the city they would flush out the fire hydrants and it would back up in water and turn it orange. We would have to go to to the city to fix our clothes. Good luck

I agree with Judy, Iron Out is fantastic stuff. I wore white uniforms and washed in rusty water so I'm very familiar with this and it works.

"20 Mule Team Borax". May be hard to find but it works. Found mine at a Wal-Mart superstore. Also try Dollar General stores.

I don't know what it is called, but you can find it where dye's are, it's clothes withener or something like that, I used and once and it worked pretty well. Found it called Rit White Wash.
