First, I realize the sun is bad & I'm going to look 50 at 30 so no need to tell me to use self tanners or put SPF on, thanks for caring though:0) My question is...can the UV light still tan me today even with cloud cover. The UV is at 10 today.

With cloud cover you are more likely to burn because the UV rays are magnified by all the humidity. Just be careful of how long you are out, and if you feel like you burned take a cold shower when you go inside because your skin can continue to cook even after you are out of the sun for up to 2 hours.

That is the most dangerous time to lay in the sun, you are getting burnt to a crisp and do not realize it because the clouds make it seem like you are not getting very hot. If you take all the sunburn protection you can then you should be fine, but it would be a great day to lay out, just watch those burns.

I've heard that with cloud cover, you can tan faster. If the clouds have water in them, it sort of acts as a magnifying glass. If I'm wrong, people, sorry but I heard this on the radio! Well, have a nice day! :)

If there are shadows, you can tan. I hold my hand over the opposite forearm and if I can see any shadow beneath it at all I lay out...if not, I don't.
