I had never gotten a Light Bright either but one year for Christmas my grandmother asked everyone in my family the question "what did you always want for Christmas as a child and never got?" That year for Christmas I got a Light Bright (I was already an adult!) my stepfather got a remote control car, my mother got a Barbie make up doll. It was hysterical.

I never had the game "Life" so I got it when I got old enough to buy it myself!

OH MY!! WHAT A SORE SUBJECT!!

I wanted an EZ BAKE oven. WANTED IT BAD!! But no, cake mixes from the store, standing on a chair so i could see up over the counter top, stirred by hand in a big bowl til my arm freakin fell off, and then carefully carried to a 400 degree oven is more fun for a small child.

As long as I had my "bug catcher" though, I was okay.

I never had game consoles. I never had Nintendo either. Basically, I wasn't allowed anything remotely fun. The closest I got was a tamagotchi!

A Batman costume.

I really really really wanted one.

In the end, my mum thought she could make it all better by getting me a Batman watch when I was 16.

Nice try mum! I hope you don't mind being lonely when you get old.

1. Sit and spin
2. That big ball with the handle on it that you could sit on and bounce around. I still want that one!
