For those of you all who know a bit about Dallas nigth life, I'm not asking about Bady Dolls but Bady Doe's. Once a regarded as a good place to go out to eat and have fun in the N. side of Dallas. Now is just a boared up shack and a bit of a ugly thing to look at from i-35. Did it just go under? or did the taxes not paid? Or did it fail inspection from the health dept. I know it is still private property, and in that case who is the owner or owners. I'm looking for a good point of contact to talk about the place if you know something about it hit me up...

The place simply became "old news" on the Dallas restaurant scene. Even after renovations in the early 2000's, it couldn't survive. When it was going under, some land/real estate developers bought out the long term lease. The property itself (Goat Hill) is very valuable. There has been talk of plans for hotels, high rises, retail, and other high end residential development.

Go to the court house. Go to the clerk of court desk and ask for help in looking up who owns the property.

All property and their owners are listed in these huge books. "Property Records"..

The clerk of court desk will assist you. That is their job.

You can find out who to call in seconds.

As to why it closed down, I read an article a while back in the Dallas Morning News, that said, that homosexual men had started dominating the place and the staff had become rude to EVERYBODY. It just fell out of favor with the public.

See, it is very near where all the gay clubs are in the Oaklawn area.

People simply stopped going.
