treaties with the US are Andorra, Angola, Bantu Homelands, Bhutan,
Bosnia, Cambodia, Ciskei, Cuba, Iran, Korea (North), Libya, Maldives,
Serbia, Somalia, Taiwan, Transkei, Vanuatu, and Vietnam."

I'm not a legal expert, but you'd be pretty safe in Iran or North Korea I suppose. And to be honest, Iran is a gobsmackingly beautiful country with wonderful people - pity for its politics though.
