my mother was only 10 years old when she was at curve lake here in ontario. her and 7 of her sisters were playing by the water when she saw a big horse like head with a long neck coming straight for them. they took off running leaving the youngest sister playing near the shore. my mother turned around and went back just in time, barley getting away. she and her sisters told my great uncle what happened and recieved a smack and told never to speak of this again. please let me know if you heard anything like this before.

There is a legend of one that lives in a lake near me. Flathead Lake, in Montana. It is known as the Flathead Monster. I've not seen him but know of many credible people who have. Stories abound. I heard one story where the monster lifted a child out of drowning waters and placed him on a dock and then dove back under and swam off.
It is speculated that they are sturgeons who have lived a very long time and just keep growing.

OK I was like 7 and I have searched the internet no other story like this its a lake outside of Gunnison Colorado the lake is called Blue Mesa I was at the dock we were getting ready to leave and I was watching some baby lake trout debating if I wanted to try to catch one and suddenly it was at least 9 feet long I couldn't see most of it though it had 3 inch teeth was about 6 inches in diameter it snapped the fish and then blood filled the water and I ran off.

I dont know, if you have heard of this history in Scottland. The so called monster of Loch Ness (you can look for it in the Internet).
Its about a legendary monster, that had lived for the past 60 or 70 years in a lake in Scotland.
Many people told about, what they had seen etc. and a bunch of photos are existing..
But a few years ago, they found out, that it was just a legend. Not real..Anyway
