What do you mean 'safe'? Leaving the computer on is not going to hurt it. A screen saver isn't even necessary. There a few power save options in Windows. If you right click your desktop, go to properties, go to the screen saver tab, and go to properties... you can have your monitor turn off after a certain length of idle time, turn off your hard disk, go into hibernate. Also leaving your monitor on can cause 'image burn'. More or less there will be a faint image of your computer on the screen all the time.
Of course leaving it on is like leaving anything else on. It'll use more power and put more 'miles' on your equipment. On the other hand though... booting up 10 times a day probably would do about the same.
If you mean safe as in secure. You can log out of Windows and leave it on.
It really depends on what you mean by safe.

Well this is a debate that goes on all the time. As your concern is with the monitor, the answer is that a static screen saver that does not change can eventually "burn" a monitor with the screen saver image. If you use a screen saver such as flying toasters where the images are constantly changing, then the "burn" will not happen.

As long as u have never had any over heating probs with ur comp then yes,it is safe and actually many comp techs will tell ya that its easier on ur OS if its not starting up on a daily basis. If u use ur comp on a daily basis then leave it on,go into ur power options and set ur monitor to shut down after an hour or so when not being used. Its important to restart ur comp every 3 days in order to refresh ur windows files.

Not particulary. Most modern screens don't have a big issue with image burn but it's not advisable to push them anyway. Your problem is in heating, your computer heats up and the extractor fan is supposed to deal with it but they are not designed to be kept on for all hours and can become damamged by the constant heat without some down time to cool off. Also your RAM is going to get used up and performance can suffer over periods of time.

"Safe"? Yes. In truth, leaving your computer on 24/7 causes less wear and tear than shutting it off every night. (Heating and cooling expands and contracts the circuits. Over time, this causes shorts).
The monitor consumes a LOT more power than the computer.
Switch off the monitor, leave the computer on.

it rather is the factor of a demonstrate saver - to no longer reason burn-in, yet no longer plenty threat of that with an liquid crystal demonstrate workstation demonstrate. Your potential suggestions could have the alternative of turning off the demonstrate after a incredible kind of minutes of guy or woman inaction.

It would be better if you didn't. If the computer isn't in use, turn it off and save some electricity. It'll also reduce wear and tear on your equipment.

I think periodically you should turn off the monitor, however it will not do any damage to leave it on.
