WHEN YOUR REALLY IN LOVE AND NOT LUST

2006-06-30 03:02:38 · answer #1 · answered by Curious 5 · 1 0

Although true love is something that can only be felt and not explained, this is what I've found to be the best explanation:

1. You find yourself doing all the little stuff for someone: opening doors for them and carrying their books and bags...

2. You are the only one to make them laugh when they are feeling down...

3. You go through pain when the other is not around...

4. You find yourself talking to your pillow and hugging it all night long like it can talk and hug back...

5. You delight in every word they say and in every breath they take...

6. You can look into their eyes, no matter what color they are, and feel time frozen around you...

7. You can argue and fight with them, but still can't get them out of your mind...

8. When your on the phone with them late at night and they hang up you miss them already when it was just five minutes ago...

9. You read their texts over and over again...

10. You walk really slow when you're with them...

11. You feel shy whenever you're with them...

12. When you think about them, your heart beats faster and faster...

13. You smile when you hear their voice...

14. When you look at them you can't see anyone else around you... all you see is him/her...

15. You start listening to slow songs, while thinking of them...

16. They become all you think about...

17. You get high just from their scent and their kiss...

18. You realize that you're always smiling to yourself when you think
about them...

19. You would do anything for them...

20. While reading this, there was one person on your mind the whole
time...

If they were on your mind the whole time there is a pretty good chance that it is true, but you might just be infatuated.

True Love is not an emotion. True Love is an action. It means that you would willingly sacrifice your own interests for the interests of the one you love no matter what the cost. Feelings are fickle they come and they go, but true love is solid and unchanging. You can love someone and be angry at them at the same time.

Parents - You can understand this when dealing with your kids when they have done something wrong. You are angry or disappointed, but you still love them all the same.

People say that love is an emotion so that they don't have to own up to the responsibility of actually LOVING someone.

its when you think you really love some one, when all you do all day is wonder why can't your lover be with you this very minute cuddling and spending time with , what would happen if you were to never see each other again , how come your lover hasn't called you today and complimented on how beautiful you look, its just a game of what if's and but's and what would happen, true love is a never ending game, love can take you into so many new places and different pathes but true love will always lead you to one path and thats with your true love.

True love is when you care about someone so much that you would be willing to lay down your life to save them. It also is strongly tied to just paying attention to someone. To ignore someone is often perceived as a stronger form of hate than actual acts of cruelty. That's why some children will do things they know will bring on punishment just to get the attention, even though it's "bad" attention.

My definition of true love is having feelings so strong that you feel like you are going to explode. Beware though: true love is a very dangerous thing that may damage your heart and mind infinately. Be careful.

1Corinthians 13:4 says that love suffers long and is kind;Love does not envoy; does not parade itself, is not puffed up;there are more verses that you can read but this is the one that tells what true love is. But really you should read all of chapter 13 because it is about love. That's in the king James bible.

I would have to say true love is the same as unconditional love or the love dogs show for their masters.

In fiction (e.g. Romance) - Undying and unchanging love between two people or ones feeling towards another ... etc.

In real world - Something you believe you have or had recieved till either party meets some better deal and / or something you believe exists till you read divorce settlement.

In very rare cases - unbreakable bond of affection which may last till life time and beyond if there is any such place

For believers - Love of their God towards them (till he puts them in Hell for minor transgressions etc. )

For me - hey, I believe not in that and if there ever was anything of the sort - we never would have needed marriage laws!

ps I was talking of boy/girl love here (mainly)

lol

True love: a continual decision, accompanied but not driven by emotion, to place the happiness and wellbeing of someone else before your own.

true love is when you feel like you can't live without the person you love and even in tough times you would still stay with them. =D
