I have on occasion contemplated this question myself. In point of fact, however, there is no credible evidence of another life, reality, or world from which we came. Likewise, there is no credible evidence of a consciousness, deity, or other supernatural agency to create such a situation. Suffering is a part of this reality. Even if everything was functioning optimally on this planet, suffering would still exist. As to the degree of suffering that is happening all around the world, such that for most of the human population not fortunate enough to live in the wealthy nations of North America and of Europe, life is pretty much hell: this hell was manufactured by humans and their civilization.

i think it might be hell in a nother world. Besides some people think Earth is hell and when you die you leave earth a (hell0 and go to heaven. But if you belong in hell you simply stay on earth and suffer. In other word Earth is hell and full of hell so maybe it hell in this world too. 2 chat more with me you can email me at crishell_brown@yahoo.com

Quite possibly. Think about it. We work ourselves to death, rarely have good relationships with the people around us, and are always striving to have something we can never reach. (A good balance of time, money, and relationships. Friends or otherwise)

In a way, if you let it get to you, this is Hell.

I have felt that way before. Though there is not much you can do with that philosophy. It's a pretty bleak thought.
