I think that they're both have great unique voices. But in my opinion I think Mariah Carey sounds a better than Mary J. Blige.

They are both great but i feel something deep down when i hear Mary sing that i just dont get when i hear Mariah i think Mary has more soul but this is a tough question because i have always liked Mariah Carey, still i will have to stick with Mary J.Blige

Mariah was an ok pop singer a few years ago but now she's all downhill. That Mary J. idiot can't sing very well...at all. I saw her on tv and she was all out of key and just plain terrible. You're backing 2 losing horses.

Damn thats hard, so i'll split it. Mary has some great lyrics and mariah has a good voice. So what the point of having a great voice but what you singing about aint worth nothing Mariah songs are not all that great to me to me she only has a few good ones. So i guess the winner is Mary J!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's all subjective, but the smart answer would be Mariah. She's got an unbelievable vocal range, and Mary doesn't. Mary has more "soul" in her voice, but on pure singing abiltity, it's gotta be Mimi.
