Are there any good chat programs besides Yahoo Messenger? Haven't heard much good about ICQ or IRC. (Moderated, monitored.)

There is one called Pow Wow and another one called paltalk

I prefer google talk. I like their voice feature better. Yahoo usually lags or disconnects and it makes some people sound like a chipmunk, but I never had the problem with google talk. Their chat program looks primitive, but it takes up little space and its very easy to use.

If you want a gmail invite, let me know and contact me. Once you get an account with gmail, you can use their 2 gig email server and their free chat program. All free.

well the bigest chat comunity is the one IRC like messias, or IRcap you can find a lot of chats arround the world over there..
