absolutely. cutting back on the amount of table salt that you put on your food will definitely cut back blood pressure. I did it when I had borderline numbers and they went right back to normal after a couple of months.

It's better to reduce your salt intake to no more than 500mm a day. It will be helpful if you started to read the lables on your prepackaged food because many many products containt an abundance of sodium like bottled salad dressings, canned food products, and snacks. It's much better to eat freshly prepared foods and snacks. During the day the amount of salt consumed can really add up.

Keep an eye on how much salt you add while preparing meals will also be helpful (use little to none) and you can substitute herbs and spices for a delicious flavor. Reduce the stress factors in your life. Take relaxing hot baths at least 2x a week. Buy a home blood pressure monitor and begin charting your blood pressure.

Yes it will ,
remember not to cut salt out entirely as it is a vital component in your blood

Too little salt + exercise == lowers blood pressure == collapse ie. heat stroke

too much salt ,will raise blood pressure
( increase the likely hood of a stroke, .ie. bleeding in the brain)
Keep a balance , many foods are too salty , so to reduce salt avoid them
