I need information to type into the "fill in the blank" questions when setting up a new email account such as incoming and outgoing server names and what type of server, POP3 http.

and Lastly is there anything else you might recommend I need to set on my computer? I went into control panel to add yahoo as my default mail server but it is just not working. I tried
Incoming: pop.mail.yahoo.com
and
Outgoing: out.yahoo.com

thanks in advance!

Unless you're an existing paid subscriber to Yahoo! Mail Plus, you won't have the POP3 option. This might change in the future. For now, you can set Yahoo as the default for Internet Explorer.

The answer all depends on what email software you use. Outlook and outlook express are different setting than say Eudora. Bottom-line is that you'll need to enter the settings area of your email software and enter the settings for Yahoo.

Of course, you could simply add a link to the Yahoo Mail webpage and avoid configuring email entirely. So long as you have internet access, you can get to Yahoo Mail.
