there's been an on going debate as to who was better, I personally think MJ, but also respect prince as an artist. I'm curious as to know your thoughts on this one.

Even thought they are both wonderful singers I have to go with MJ. He is truely an entertainer!

Michael Jackson had the moves but he didn't have the same kind of spirit and wild side that Prince had. Prince had a style for the ages. So, Prince was better.

Statistically, the answer is Micheal Jackson. He may have his downfalls but he is definitly better "all time" than Prince or just about any other artist in his style of expertise. Think about it... Does Prince own anything that even compares to Never Neverland?

Come on now, must we really ask this question. PRINCE wins with a standing ovation! Can Michael play all the instruments like Prince? No. Can Michael write and choregraph his music/vidoes? No. Has Michael ever won an Oscar for a musical score or even wrote one? No (by the way Prince won his Oscar for the Best Musical Score for Batman). Who is still performing with sellout concerts? Prince.
The final question: Who is still in their prime? PRINCE!!! He is just as good as he was back in the late 70's early 80's.

I don't like much of MJ's music and I do like some of Prince's.
The question isn't about my favorite so I have to give it to Michael Jackson.
He spent a lot of his peak time as a superstar.
Prince never was as popular even at his peak. He never made it to superstar status.
