I'd like to find a site that asks me questions, and then it formats the answers into a professional looking resume.

I've taught job-hunting for several years and am not personally familiar with any websites that ask you a series of questions. There are software packages that do that, but most websites just give you the various sections to fill-in, which is basically the same thing.

I would suggest websites like Careerbuilder.com, Hotjobs.com, and Monster.com, which are the biggest and most popular. Also, you state's unemployment office has a free website that allows you to post your resume. You can easily walk into one of their offices and find out what that site is. Microsoft Word also has a resume template that you can use.

A resume should be no longer than 1 1/2 pages, preferably 1 page long, and generally includes the following sections:

(1) Contact info--name, address, phone, email, voicemail

(2) Objective (optional)--tells the employer what specific kind of work you want, such as Customer Service. I generally suggest leaving this section out! Employers are good at matching your skills to their available positions.

(3) Skills--Listing of what you can do for me. Mold this section to the type of work you want.

(4) Education--Any schooling and/or on-the-job training you've had that's related to the kind of work you're seeking.

(5) Work History--Your employment history. Only list those jobs relevant to the job you're seeking.
