Unfortunately there is little rap that teaches any kind of value of message unless it is a message about gang life, drugs, and violence. Rap music only crippples the black community. Some blacks still say that the white man holds them down, but looking at parts of black culture, blacks hold themselves back. The black community needs less rappers and more African American role models.
I can think of old CD's that aren't gangster rap, but unless you get into hip-hop and R&B music, rap that doesn't teach of a life of crime and degrading women just isn't popular anymore. Example, some might say Ja Rule, but he is an R&B artist. M.C. Hammer and Young M.C. are long gone. DMX is the most recent rapper that I can think of that isn't gangster.

well there are many cds that do not have bad words on them. crhistian is not a bad idea but also many times u think u want to listen to rap but might want to go to a differnet genre of music. it is always better to try something different though. why dont u try hip hop. or r&b.

anything but rap. most of it has no actual instrumental music played by people. just sound clips adjusted in sound or programmed into a computer.
