Ghana were a delight to watch. Whats so good about them is their style of play is different from the rest.
All of the teams that made it through have players who have clubs in Europe and play in the champions league. As a result they all play similar and that is boring.
I think the black stars lost to Brazil because their striking was not accurate enough, and Brazil are a great team too.
Ghana also played football in the corinthian spirit (fair play, enjoyment of the game) - which is a pleasure to see.
Ghana v. Brazil : the highest standard of football in the world cup so far.

I guess they were excellent in the whole 3 stage1 match.
Beside the final score, the very first against Italy could has been the better one.
Surely they were the best Africa team in the tournament so far. It's a pity they clash against Brazil in round of 16, against thinner opponent as Switzerland, Ukraine, Australia, they've had better chances. The match against Brasil they suffered to have Essien not eligible to play, but they choose a wrong tactic too, with defenders too close to midfield. Anyway, I think Brazil deserved to win.

Not being a football supporter, I was dragged in with a bunch of mates to watch Ghana getting a sound beating at football, which I may add did not occur.
No matter what you think other teams were worried about Ghana as their midfield play was excellent, it was only their forward play that let them down.
A team well worth putting money on for the next world cup

Hey Gideon.I like the Ghanian team. They play good football,I could not just make out what went wrong in the Brazil-Ghana match.I think their finishing was the problem.
I see Ghana coming up for real in the next few years,BUT that will be next to the Super eagles of NIGERIA bcos that is another special team.

You are absolutely right. The only problem is that fifa favors brazil and ghana had the bad luck to have to face them. Your team was robbed in the brazil game, when they scored in off-side the second goal. The ref consistently made mistakes against Ghana. It's a shame.

The Black Stars played very well in all their matches. They were a real delight to watch.Though we lost to Brazil we played our hearts out.Though painful blaming the referee or FIFA is out of the question. We must admit that our plyers just could not score goals and work to resolve it.Hopefully by 2010 we will then be ready to shock the world.

I agree it's great to see other teams testing out the usual qualifiers. One day they will prove a greater challenge I'm sure.
Not just teams like Ghana either. There are plenty of teams from the far east beginning to shine through as well.

I agree with you it is boring seeing all the same teams play year after year (Brazil and Argentina Italy especially) Ghana and Australia did really well but unfortunately FIFA goes for the "top teams" B*****DS

It is well said, Africa will not reach Semis until least 2020. They will get to winning the title after 2050.
See any secret document of fifa, if it will not reveal to you this fact.
Evidences has started showing from match officiating from this and previous world cups.
