how old is your computer? your computer clock is run by a little battery. if the battery is bad it will not show the right time.

There could be a few problems. One could be you have a Virus in your system that is doing this. One your computer could need a reformat. Some time that help if you do your computer over..it also could mean that in your Ms-dos the setting need to be reset in your C-mouse..hope this helps

The internal battey on your computor is bad. It is like the battery for a clock. It keeps all of the little settings nice and neat until you need them. Check in your owners manuel, it should list the internal battery.

There is a lithium battery that needs replacing. It would be wise to have someone do it for you. It can be bad when the battery goes completely dead because it can make your computer lose its cmos information.
