I´ve been the other man in a relationship like that and the womans marriage benefited from it, we´re still friends, her husband knows nothing about it and he gets better sex than he ever had before.
Word of warning though..... you need to be emotionally strong otherwise everyone can get hurt... I know !!!!!!!!

If you are really serious about wanting an open realationship, i can tell you everything, the good the bad and the ugly. I saw that someone said that these types of open realationships are for those older couples who don't want to lose their house etc. I've seen many teenage couples in the swinging scene. The scene can make or break a relationship, it's both good and bad, a reflection of society. Most of those involved are proffesional couples, doctors, lawyers, captains of industry, Inteligent ordinary people, who just don't see a problem with having an open realationship. If you contact me through my 360 i will probably try to put you off the idea and i definitly don't need any more guests. Please, no more myopic bigots, or God fearing types to visit my site. I have no under 18 yr olds or anything for you to worry about. everyone here is here by choice.

I say tell them you want it. If they are not comofrtable with it, you can decide what you do so as not to hurt them. If you just cheat, and they learn it - it will most like end the relationship, not because you were not faithful, but because you hid it.

On the other hand... there is a theory that a woman should not tell her man anything he doesn't need to know. If you can be very very discreet... I guess.

I would discuss that with my partner as soon as we started going out, but that is my choice.

Dont cheat, there is never a good reason to go behind your partners back!
It only hurts both of you in the long run.
The best course of action is to tell him what you want and see how he takes it, its obvious you want more sexual experiences with other guys before you settle down but you also want him to be there in case things dont work out and you want your safety net waiting there to catch you.
I am not going to lie to you, there is a good chance he might dump you but its better than having to face him after the borken hearted guy after he finds out he has been cheated on.
There is a chance that he might accpet what you want but can you deal with him having sex with other girls?
Remember open relationships go both ways.

Cheating is so hurtful, I know because I was cheated on. It's a betrayal that you never get over, the hurt goes so deep. If you don't want to be with the person you are with, just tell that person.

an open relationship is not the same as cheating so what are you actually wanting to achieve? Talk about your relationship with your partner before you do anything that could damage both of you. what isn't working might be fixed or it may be time to split. cowardice is not going to work.

It really wouldn't be an open relationsip if you just cheat. Talk to him, you might be surprised at how he takes it. Just ask him what his thoughts are in the subject to break the ice into the topic.

You should tell your other half and let them know your desires. It's possible they may even want the same thing. If they don't, then don't be an @$$hole and cheat, break up or divorce from them.

You want to have the cake and eat it too. You can't. Unless your other half has low self steem and is desperate don't count on it.

You have to make a decision to stay or head for other waters.

I've never heard of an open relationship only one person knows about. I would think your partner would have to agree to that.
