Probably he does like you, he's just too shy to say it, which is why he called. He probably purposely said it was a wrong number because he got too nervous. When you called him and told him you liked him, he may have felt more nervous that you were just joking or making fun of him or something. Smile at him when you see him, or if you're kind of like friends and you have his IM, talk to him more often. This will clue him in so it'll be easier to notice if he likes you, and maybe he'll come out and say it.

obsessed with this particular boy-situation.
So im going to make a general suggestion for all your questions:
Stop crowding him, i know you really like him, but there is NOTHING more unattractive than a girl who is practically stalking
someone. Start playing more aloof. Reverse psycology. its the best defense that women have. plus on the topic of defense: love is hell, much like the saying "war is hell". There is a "power" aspect that you're not looking into here. When someone is constantly putting them selves out there, they are losing all the power. right now, this dude has all the power, and that is so unattracive ignore him for a while. or better yet, start seeing someone else

He may be playing a game like so many men do and messing with your head by calling in hopes that you would try to retain a conversation with him or engage in some phone tag by chasing him via the telephone lines. if you're curious find out where he is coming from. If he bullshits you around then forget about him.
