I majored in philosophy and biochemistry in college, and although I failed to find an acceptable "proof" of God's existance in phil., I found one that works for me in biochem:
I'll tell you what does it for me...the sodium/potassium pump. Every cell in your body has a semi-permiable cell membrane that consists of a phospho-lipid bilayer and transport proteins. Coupled with adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP), some of these transport moleclues "pump" 3 moleclues of sodium ions out of your cells, and 2 molecules of potassium in. This creates an uneven balance of electrical charge across your cell membranes (called an electro-chemcial gradient) and enables the electrical charges that communicate your feelings, thoughts and emotions, to travel throughout your body. This happens a billion times a day in every cell of your body. It's impossibly complex if you think about it, but it's only moderately difficult to envision in comparison to the rest of the Universe. (Quantum Mechanics, on the other hand ,makes no sense at all) It seems awfully silly to assume such a useful little mechanism, and the more complex mechanisms that surround it and connect with it, arose by chance...ergo, in the face of such an impossibly complex system, it seems rediculous to me to assume a creator/designer does NOT exist. Go ahead and embrace science and reality and the tangible...they are also paths to God.

For the fun of it, let's try to convert you to agnosticism!
Okay, you're atheist because you don't think God could logically exist. You probably base this on the fact that the world sucks and there's no obvious God fixing it. There are three ways a god could still exist and be virtually unfelt.
The first is simple: gods don't have as much power as you think they should. They're not going to be making themselves known everywhere, especially now that mortals have so much power of their own. It would be possible to kill a god, as in the ancient myths, and now it would be relatively easy, so they lay low. If you're (un)lucky, you might meet a god or other supernatural being during your lifetime, but they're rare nowadays.
The second is relate: gods aren't everywhere. The universe is a big place and we're not important enough to warrent god's attention. Even if we were created by the gods, they could concievably get bored, just as I eventually got bored of Legos, and leave us for some more exciting creation. Maybe one day nostalgia will bring the gods back, but if we prefer doing things our way we might not want this to happen. My advice: get a spaceship and start your own space opera; that might just be interesting enough for a God to tune in.
The third is that God doesn't want to fix our mess up, either because he wants us to do it ourselves, or because he doesn't care enough to help, or that he wants us to suffer through life. This one worries me most, because it implies that a cruel-ish God is meddling with us even now, but that we couldn't find proof of Him if He didn't want us to.
Of course, you might just use Occam's Razor against God and say we don't need divinity to explain our universe, and that the simplist answer is best. However, realize that there are other possible heuristics than simplicity, and none is neccesarily correct. You claim the following logical argument: God is unneccesary, therefore there is no God. This is false logic; just because something's unneccesary doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Therefore, your faith in Universal Simplicity and Non-Divinity is no different from a religious person's faith in God; neither has the higher moral ground nor better logic. And since atheists are supposed to be against faith in any form, it's impossible to achieve. Therefore, the closest you can get, if you dislike religion, is agnosticism.

If it's not deeply rooted in your upbringing it's not a tangeble thing to prove, it's faith. I look at history and can make a logical case for their being a God but it cant be proven. I think of my grandmothers goodness and think there is God. What God is? That's where you could really make a strong case for it's exsistance, think of the super sgo for instance? It's the goodness in our hearts, that's the easy way to have some proof of a real God, created by humanity, there are lots of other concepts of God that are faith based only. Einstien's thinking there is God is a good start for a skeptic.

Does the computer you use came into existence by itself, or by chance? If your answer is "no", then it has a maker. By the same reasoning, someone must have made you, and that someone is God.
Actually, if you are an atheist, you need not bother about this question. God does not need patronising.

Only the Holy Sprit can convence you of His presence. You obviously think it is a possibility or you would not ask. My suggestion would be to pick a Bible and read it. God speaks to you through the words. When you read and understand that, there will be no more doubts.
