From the part of the question that exists, I am guessing this is the standard question of how to fill the 5 liter bucket with exactly 4 liters of water. If that is the case, the answer is as follows:
1. Fill the 3 liter bucket completely full and empty it into the 5 liter bucket. Fill the 3 completely full again and use it to finish filling the 5 liter bucket. This leaves 1 liter of water in the 3 liter bucket.
2. Empty the 5 liter bucket and pour the remaining liter from the 3 liter to the 5 liter. Fill the 3 liter bucket and empty it into the 5 liter again, giving you exactly 4 liters in the 5 liter bucket.
