Recently I read that The average american is lonley, more loney than that of 20 years ago. But, wht does that have to do with stupidity? Perhaps, as we regress into isolation the less chances we have at true communication creates this stupid epedemic. Then again, Madison seems correct in the answer above - Bad parenting - and lack of education. People also need personal expericances to build on - GO Zygotsky ! Good Question I ask my self the same on on a daily basis! Enjoying the answers..

In asking this question, you are also being nieve and, to harshly put it, stupid. There are always people that aren't as bright as others, it's just that back in the old days, they had fulfilling lives doing manual labor and not getting involved in big social matters.

You have to go deeper into your pant, take the list out of it, and figure out who has made you so mad to ask such a question. If he is your man, just clear it with your sweet words and positive thinking. If it is your kids, ground them a week, no phone, no TV and no sex. If it is you, just go out, look for a French kiss and ma ma mi ya.

Because they have so many convenient things to help that along.... Computers (does the work for you so you don't have to Physically ) and doing nothing physical kills your Brain.
Also, microwave meals, robot vacs and lawn mowers, remote controls, and eating fast food.....
