Check for spelling mistakes!

ie.
Contemporary

It is all about other sites linking to this site. Find galleries that will do a link. You add a link to the gallery.

If you must then you will have to investigate paying for an entry in yahoo or google.

Otherwise it is just plain advertising. Get the name seen. Any publications of the artists work make sure that the web site is mentioned.

You seem to be at the top for the google search already!

It take lots of work and months before you will see your site at the top of the search engines. Here are a few things you can check:
-Title Tag should be very few words and consist of the main keywords
-Description Tag should be keyword laden but appear normal as a normal description. Keep to 150-180 characters.
-Keywords Tag – keep this to less than 10 keyword phrases and only include those keyword phrases that are part of your web page content. List the primary keyword phrase first. The order of the keyword phrases matters. Plurals matter too!
-Header

Tag should be as close to the top of the page as possible and contain the main keyword phrase

check keywords, and other meta info, page titles help and links within your site should not be graphics - if so, use alt tags.

Search engine placement is a popularity contest unless you pay to be indexed. The more traffic you get, the better the results. Nothing will replace ole fashined advertising to market the site to gain traffic.

I use both..try anything when it comes to looking things up this may help

It also depends on what kind of Art she is doing or making..
When she type in a key word she can add this -->+<-- after each word..this helps look for it better..
Example: Painting+water colour
hope this helps
