When I say 'resposibility', I mean in the sense of 'using, not abusing' (if you will allow the expression).

Not necessarily.
Intelligence is like mental muscle. Intelligence means you can solve problems more quickly. Likewise, just because you are good at running does not mean you will become an athlete.
Just because you have it doesn't mean society will grant you more responsibility.
You need to combine intelligence with other attributes.

Intelligence needs to be combined with other qualities such as wisdom, empathy, instinct, direction, assertiveness and bravery to enable a person to achieve a responsible position in society.

Equally, just because you are more intelligent doesn't mean you will behave more responsibly. There are countless examples of irresponsible intelligent people.
hope this helps!

Well, one would assume that people with a higher IQ would be better able to take on the concept of personal responsibility and responsible behaviour in general. However, it is Emotional Intelligence which is the defining factor, regardless of IQ. Check out Daniel Goleman's books, which will explain the concept of EQ versus IQ.
A higher intelligence gives a person the ability to abstract faster than someone who's intelligence is lower. What the person with the higher IQ chooses to do with their intelligence, though, is down to their personal choice, as it is with the less intelligent person.

Well people certainly put higher expectations on you if you are intelligent.

Philosophically speaking the circles of responsibility grow like this:

1) Responsibility for one's self
2) Responsibility for one's children
3) Responsibility for one's family
4) Responsibility for one's community/tribe
5) Responsibility for one's society
6) Responsibility for the planet/humanity/philosophical ideals

The more capable an individual is the higher on this pyramid they are able to function. So yes I think that people of greater capability have a responsibility to contribute more..... I don't think that intelligence is the only, or even the best, measure of capability though, I would rate thoughfulness, kindness, emotional stability and generosity as more desirable traits. Intelligent people designed the nuclear bomb and napalm afterall.

Intelligents will BE ABLE to carry more responsibilities. But a genius, will SELECT which responsibilities she WANTS to carry.

The less intelligent ones MAY have to carry many responsibilities too, some PASSED DOWN by the more intelligents ones..haa haa

The Morons however, are actually more smart than we think. They act moronic, so that we think they can't afford to do anything what more take any responsibility......

Nonsense, I find my IQ enables me to abuse those less fortunate than I and to have tremendous fun at their expense. What's the point in being superior to someone if you can't put them down and keep them down by undermining them and pouring scorn on their inadequate lives.

Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
