sometimes we hate what we cannot control. go to the doctor, it's your best answer. noone likes surgery, just be thankful it is in your hand and not internal.

I have an extra bone in both my feet. The foot doctors said that I m one of 10% of the human population to have these small bones in BOTH feet. He said that unless they are hurting and cause me problems, which thank goodness they aren't, would have to be removed. But then unfortunantely you hav the one extra bone in your right right. Go for it ok? Once ts over with you won't have to deal with it anymore. Thankfully it is only in your right hand, and being in the hand/palm it will be easily removed without causing you much trouble. Surgery these days on such a small thing is a wiz, So go for it, have it taken care of/removed and you won't have to live in a panic anylonger. I have had a fractured right ankle, and crushed my left foot and heel. I've had ear microscopic surgery (done while I was awake, EEEEK!), and appendix removed, and cervical Coning and D%C. So I've been "under the knife" plenty of times. So no worry ok, it will only take you a week or so to recover, one day probably in the hospital. And just think, you will be on a temporary vacation in the hospital with nurses waiting on you hand and foot! So do it girlfriend, its no biggie, really!! It is on;y going to get worse as it continues to grow and bother you even more! So tell the doctor TODAY to book you a "room at the Inn" and do it while the weather is good, you won't ache as much either. DO IT OK? You go girlfriend!

i doubt it's an extra bone. it wouldn't grow that suddenly or that fast. you really need to go to a doc ASAP. it could be a pocket of fluid that needs to be drained.

Sounds like it is bad enough to go see a doctor.
