God is just a concept. All philosophies are limiting. Get beyond language and into the silence. God and Man are both creations.

God has created man, he is greater than man and will ALWAYS be. I believe this because there is NO WAY any human could make my heart beat, keep my lungs working without error. Yes I understand that there are people with diseases and disabilities who cannot perform these tasks, but that is all God's will. In contrast to the theory of evolution, things could not have evolved on their own. For example, the computer was made by man, yes it does progress more and more but without man it cannot operate. The parts of the computer di not just one day have a meeting and decide that they would arrange themselves into a computer. Someone had to do that, so in like manner God created us. I hope this helped u and i hoped it was clear

While it's possible that a God could have created man, I doubt it. I believe that the Big Bang was the point of creation for the universe, since all evidence correlates it, but it's possible that an omnipotent, omniscient being could concievably set events at motion even at the instant of creation to lead to exactly everything we have today. There is no uncertainty to such a being and nothing that one couldn't do, so everything is possible. However, it's equally likely that there was no divine interference in the universe and that random chance alone culminated in our evolution. Given this, I am tempted to side with the simpler argument and argue that there was no divinity involved, but I can't discount the chance that there was one.

It's highly likely that man created God, regardless of whether or not God created us. As social beings with imperfect knowledge of our surroundings, we seek to explain phenomena in whatever way makes the most sense. Further, for social stability, we need certain rules. The best way to communicate our understanding of nature and our social rules before writing was through oral tradition; namely, storytelling. Just as we might see Captain Planet save the world from pollution, cavemen could have a story about a young warrior who was given knowledge of which mushrooms were safe and which allowed communication with the spirits by a toad in the desert. In both cases, we tell a fictitious, entertaining story to children with both practical and moral meanings behind it. Oral traditions, however, mutate over time, sometimes losing or changing the original meanings but keeping the famous characters. Captian Planet might have become an icon of agriculture, while the toad might become a demon trying to tempt the warrior with magic. Both figures teach what to do in the real world, reinforce our social rules, and act as cultural icons. Thereby, Gods are born. Gods were very important as transmittors of information (including certain morals) within and between societies, and are still important as cultural icons.

Okay, so here is my take on this... You know how atoms look? There's a center (nucleus) and then things flying around it (neutrons, protons, electrons). Everything we know of is made of atoms. Billions upon billions. And those atoms are made up of even smaller atoms. Dirt has atoms. Grass has atoms. Humans have atoms. Earth has atoms. Now look at the solar system. Looks like a huge atom doesn't it? Nucleus=sun. Protons, Neutrons, Electrons=planets and asteroids. So maybe the atoms of the atoms are self aware and are the same thing among their peers. Maybe our galaxy is just a tiny tiny atom, part of something as simple as a blade of grass perhaps? If you ever saw Men in Black, at the very end where the alien is playing marbles with our planets and stuff. That is sort of a visualization of what I'm talking about.

Since we are a process in motion I am inclined to think that man created God until we see further proof of a god based upon mans definitions. For some no proof is needed to follow but as for me I use my common sense vs. my given environment and operate within those means. I love to let my mind wonder like the next man but that don't mean I will force them to think as I do.

well if you believe in God then you will know he is real from the start like when you something that should have happen didn't even tho you keep thinking and thinking about like but it should have happen and it didn't like lets say should have been hit by something and it just miss you even tho when you looked it was rite there in your face but some how you moved that fast and it didn't hit you. if you don't believe try it you see how somethings will start working and some stay the same its just the way God works. I always say to people that don't be live in him well what would you Rather do not believe in him and Jesus and find out there real and not get in to haven or be live in him like you be live you are setting at the computer rite now reading this ?

Can't be more specific than the Bible! God created man

2006-06-30 01:17:31 · answer #7 · answered by Sherry K 5 · 0 0

Both actually

To me god is an event long ago that sparked our beginnings.
So that without it we would not be here.
Thus GOD creating man.

What it seems though is that people see god in a image of
what they want god to be or what they feel god should be.
Thus MAN creating god.

Pretty old question. I think there's that one saying that suits it best, "where is fancy bred, in the heart or in the head?" Do you have faith in your heart that God exists or does your mind say that God is made up?

My personal opinion..I think man has created God, but I could be wrong, you never know.

there is no god. man has created god. people need something. one life is not enough for most. the thought of there not being anything after death is difficult for many. hence, you create god, and give people hope.
