Gas companies often debit under odd names. Did you make a gas purchase recently? I almost disputed a gas purchase that I had made a week or so earlier from checking my account online until my boss told me that the company was a specific gas company in the area.

Frequently, there will be a telephone number listed along with the transaction right on your statement. That's a good place to start before going through the dispute process.

Call your bank and report it. Often they can research it and if there is a problem, than can reverse the charge.

no. if i was you i call my bank and have them find out what it is. and if it's not some place you got something at then they can take it off your card
