I know this sounds insane but we have a medical column written by Dr. Gott (I think) in our daily paper. He has published numerous letters from people who put a bar of soap under their sheets and it stops restless leg syndrome. My mother-in-law was visiting from Montana a couple of years ago and was complaining about her RLS so I showed her one of the articles. She is a very skeptical person but she tried it and now swears by it. She mentions it every time she visits. Worth a shot, right?

A new medicine just became available a few months ago called ReQuip for those that suffer with RLS. But before you jump into a new medication, I strongly suggest you see your family doctor first about this. He or she may be able to prescribe you this drug. It is always a good idea to speak with your doctor about all your symptoms and how you feel. He or she knows what medicines you are taking now and can better determine if this drug will be useful for you or not.

Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon! I hope I was some what helpful to you!
