The other night I logged onto my computer and a friend was online so we started chatting. It was late at night and I told my friend I was going to call it a night. Right before I logged off another friend came online and we chatted for a few minutes. Before I logged off, the first friend came back online and told me to get off the computer right now and go to sleep. I ignored it and he wrote for me to log off right now!! How would you of handled that? Would you of ignored it or said something back?

It sounds like it might have just been a joke. you told him you were logging off and you didn't. Whether it was a joke or not would depend upon his sense of humour. Does he joke around like that or is usually a serious person?

You should tell him to mind his own business. Why is this friend being so bossy anyway. That is no way to treat someone. You should have told him you will log off when he does.

I'd of told him to shut the hell up, it's my computer and I'll log on and off whenever I want and I don't need his ******* permission.

I'm willing to bet that your friend was only joking. It is possible, though, they were wondering why you hadn't gotten off-line yet since you had just told them that you were going to bed. But I certainly wouldn't worry about something that appears to be only joking.

I would've ignored it. You don't owe him an explanation as to why you stayed on for a little longer. If he asks, just tell him one of your other friends came on and started talking to you.
