what are the cordinates for 3x+4y=16 and y=3x+11??

We have 3X+4Y = 16 (1)
Y - 3X = 11 (2)

Adding (1) and (2)

Y + 4Y = 27

or

5Y = 27 --> Y = 27/5 = 5 + 2/5 = 5.4

replacing in (2)

27/5 - 3X = 11

therefore

X = (11-5.4)/(-3) = -5.6/3

3x+4y = 16
3x- y = -11
when subtracting

ie 5y= 27
than y = 5.4
tha x = -1.83
