Contact the courts and let them know where you are and that you just received it. I don't think they can MAKE you come back and serve on jury if you are out of the country. Most important to contact the court though....

You need to head to the court house and have it cleared up. You could have a warrant for your arrest. Take all paper work you can to show you were out of the country.. Good luck...Get some one to do it for you or call the court house.

Call the Judge's chambers then follow up with a letter explaining in very kissing up apologetic terms.

I would contact them and explain, I'm sure they will let you reschedule. What ever you do though, do not ignore it.
