The minimum is just a random signature. That's good enough for most personal things.
For a business and if you want to play it more safe, add
"For Deposit Only
The account number
The signature and/or the business name"

Your name then your account no. Add "For Deposit Only" if it is for a business account or if your are sending it to the bank via someone else

if its written to you as a personal check...sign the back w/your name...
if its for a business...write for deposit only and the company name
