Funny enough there's a feature on televisions called the "mute" button. Press this and the sound goes off therefore stopping the commentators talking crap all the time.

I dont think the commentators relize what they are saying. Its not hard to be a commentator, espacly since they have all the "fact sheets" right in front of them, they just read what is on them.

As for stopping them, good luck, I find it funny sometimes how they diss the players I just started laughing at the TV and everyone staired at me becasue they didnt understand until a minute after

You can press the mute button, or turn the volume down all the way. That is what I do. I just want to watch tennis, not listen to people talk about what they are doing when we can see it happening.

There's an easy solution, called a volume button. I tend to watch on the telly whilst listening to Radio 5 live!

I know what you are saying... I am not a great big tennis fan but I am a american football fan and I cannot stand listening to the commentators most of the time. Especially John Madden, he makes me wanna shoot myself.

I know exactly what you mean. If you can ignore most of the crap they are talking you do actually learn some stuff. Like they said, mute might be your best friend.

Anyone catch Roddick's game? "Because I'm lying and you caught me."

I don't really watch tennis, but it drives my boyfriend mad, the commentaries on World Cup ITV1, they big up all the MUFC players and diss all the arsenal etc players!
